Back in April, Linden Lab blogged about the upcoming capability for SLShare, a function of the Second Life Viewer that adds the capability to share pictures and activities to your Facebook Social Network. They shared that up-and-coming would be the ability to share on Twitter and Flickr too. Now it is official. To learn more, watch the attached video and/or click on the link for more information about SLShare.

Note, if you are using a Third Party viewer such as Firestorm, Facebook is still the only Social Share function available. Keep an eye on the Firestorm development site for updates and releases enhancements. I reached out to Firestorm to learn more about their plans for upcoming releases. SocialShare is on the development calendar and we should see them added to Firestorm in the next couple months or by the next release.

For those of you that do not know where the Facebook Share links is in your browser, here is a screenshot of the location in your viewer.
